Job Function
As a Warehouse Employee 1, you will play a vital role in getting the product in the door and out to the customer in an accurate and timely manner. To achieve this, you may be required to complete tasks throughout multiple distribution functions.
General Responsibilities
  • Perform various warehouse functions within respective department
  • Must have ability to follow written procedures
  • Treat other workers and managers with respect and voice opinion respectfully.
  • Work hard to maintain a positive atmosphere and good morale.
  • Adhere to Company’s safety rules.
  • All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of Össur. Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific.
  • All training related to the quality management system is done in accordance to the Training Management Process (PR-00042).
  • Exercises good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. Maintains an honest and professional attitude as the company’s representative at all times.
  • Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.
  • All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Össur’s Environmental, Health & Safety requirements. Training takes place in the On-boarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific training is job specific.
  • Ability to engage in the continuous improvement culture.
  • Adhere to Company Values – Honesty – Frugality - Courage
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable in the everyday business of the distribution environment.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft software products including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to vendors and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $XX.XX - $XX.XX + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
