Warehouse Operative

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager and Shift Managers

Main Purpose of Role: To safely, accurately and appropriately pack batteries of various sizes into appropriately sized containers.

Key Tasks:

• 
  Move batteries of varying weight onto workbench

• 
  Appropriately prepare battery for packing, identifying if the battery needs to be plugged

• 
  Use Display Screen Equipment to process the packing of batteries

• 
  Create cardboard boxes and pack batteries into these boxes

• 
  Use sharp utilities to appropriately pack batteries

• 
  Use appropriate equipment to move batteries to other packers

• 
  Use barcodes to track batteries if needed

• 
  Provider other packers with equipment when necessary

• 
  Treat merchandise with care and respect at all times

• 
  Work collaboratively with and support other members of staff when necessary

• 
  Keep workspaces clean and tidy

• 
  Use equipment provided appropriately

• 
  Follow Health and Safety Guidance at all times

• 
  Follow all of Tayna Ltd.’s policies and procedures at all times
