Warehouse Operative

Domex is actively looking for a Warehouse Operative to become a valuable part of our team. The position is based at our head office/warehouse in Epsom. We kindly ask that all applicants live within a 25-minute commuting distance to our head office, located in postcode KT17 1JG.

What will your responsibilities be in this role?

• Efficiently process inbound spare parts deliveries using our in-house software.
• Allocate parts promptly and accurately to the relevant engineers.
• Conduct daily restocking, manage spare "baskets," and efficiently scan, pack, and dispatch items.
• Unload the delivery van, separating returned spares for recycling and organising spares and cardboard for bailing.
• Utilise Forklifts and VNA Trucks as needed, with training and certification provided.

What are the working hours?

Shifts: 08:00–17:00, 09:00–18:00, and 09:30–18:30, as needed. The weekly rotation is determined by operational requirements, with each shift comprising 8 hours.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Prior experience in a similar warehouse role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach, demonstrating proficiency in handling the role's physical demands.
• Computer-proficient and adaptable to company software through provided training.
• Possess an understanding of health and safety procedures.
