Position Summary:
The Warehouse Support Material Handler is responsible for movement of materials in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining product quality. Warehousing processes include receiving, shipping and freezer duties. The Warehouse Support Material Handler is accountable for effective use of SAP, RF scanning and bar-coding technology to execute the tasks of assigned areas. This position will support other material handling areas as needed.
The shift is 12-hour Night on a rotating schedule. (2-2-3)
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of powered industrial trucks in use at this facility.
- Adhere to established GMP, USDA, OSHA, plant guidelines and departmental policies as informed by the Human Resources and department leadership.
- Transfer materials in an accurate fashion; verifying material numbers, batches, expiration dates and quantities. Ensure materials are clean and prepared for storage.
- Comply with company’s goal of First Expire, First Out (FEFO) inventory management and product integrity.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and complete Standard Work accurately. Successfully complete certification to demonstrate knowledge of receiving and freezer procedures, safety requirements and job performance expectations.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong ability to work independently or with others.
- Six months to one year in Warehouse experience; Line Support Material Handling is preferred.
- One to two years’ experience operating a forklift with basic knowledge of warehouse practices and procedures.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of the general office practices and procedures.
Physical Demand:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels
- Occasional bending, reaching, climbing
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (to -10° F)

Compensation Package: $28.89 USD hourly + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
Shift Differential Pay: $2.00 USD hourly
