Women Medical Officer (Gynecologist) : Bannu, KPK

Normeca International AS invites “Women Medical Officer ( Gynecologist)” to work in connection with the launch of our project in Pakistan “Mobile Multi Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital” under the management of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and in cooperation with the Government in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The clinics will cover general diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, and they are all located in large mobile trailers. The clinics are fully equipped with modern medical equipment and ancillary units such as kitchen, laundry, dining room, conference rooms, etc. The Clinics are operating in KPK and Sindh Regions.

Normeca International AS is seeking a compassionate and experienced Women Medical Officer ( Gynecologist) to join our team. This role is crucial in our mission to provide specialized medical care to women in the rural areas of Pakistan. The successful candidate must be willing to work in non-standard conditions and will offer comprehensive gynecological and obstetric services, ensuring the health and well-being of women in the community. Proficiency in English is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive gynecological and obstetric care to female patients.

Conduct routine check-ups, prenatal and postnatal care, and gynecological exams.

Diagnose and treat reproductive health issues and disorders.

Perform minor gynecological procedures and assist in surgeries as needed.

Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and disease prevention.

Develop and manage personalized treatment plans for patients.

Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices in gynecology and obstetrics.

Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited institution.

Valid medical license to practice as a Gynecologist.

Proven experience as a Gynecologist.

Strong knowledge of gynecological and obstetric care principles and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Willingness to work in non-standard conditions in rural areas.

Proficiency in English is an advantage.
