Auckland Council’s Parks & Community Facilities department is seeking a permanent part time housekeeper for the Martin’s Bay Holiday Park team.

The Park is open 7 days a week including public and school holidays, we are especially busy throughout the summer months so having the ability to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and additional shifts is required.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:

Cleaning cabins, units, and communal facilities
Ensuring a positive experience for our guests
Grounds and surrounds general maintenance
Assisting with all other duties as required

The role pays at $27.80 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic, and customer focussed person to join our team. This is often a high-pressure role that without a doubt will keep you fit – you must be comfortable in a physically challenging role. A friendly and helpful attitude is key to ensure we are providing memorable experiences for our guests.

We will be looking for people who have:

Cleaning & general maintenance experience (or the ability to learn quickly on the job)
Great attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Ability to commence work ASAP
Class 1 Full drivers’ licence to operate parks vehicles is desirable
