Sealing & Packing Team Member

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent – COOK Pastry & Pies

Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

Rate: £26,208 per year (yes this include paid breaks)

That’s why we need sharp-eyed, fast-moving team players to seal, sleeve, and box our delicious dishes to perfection. If you love working in a buzzing team, take pride in the little details, and want every meal to leave with a wow, we want you on board!

The Role

Accuracy & Presentation: Seal and box meals to ensure all products meet legal weight requirements and high presentation standards.
Quality Control: Verify freezing processes, operate x-ray and metal detection equipment, and confirm all packaging and labeling match specifications.
Documentation: Complete all paperwork accurately, including legal obligations.
Team Contribution: Collaborate effectively in a small team to minimize damage and wastage.

Good to Have

Prior experience in food manufacturing or catering (NVQ Level 2 is a bonus).
A background in team leadership is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
