We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Business Administrator to provide support to Education Division Specialist Teaching Service Teams. We are part of a Local Authority dedicated to championing change for children.

Our Senior Business Administrators play a vital role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. It’s fast-paced and varied, but we’ll make sure you get all the training and support you need to succeed.

The successful candidate will work in our Children's Services Department providing high level administrative support to our Specialist Teaching Service Teams who support children and young people with Special Educational Needs, and their families, in East Sussex. You will have a desire to make a difference to the families we work with.

We are looking for candidates with:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with a wide range of people, including managers, colleagues, schools, and families.
Confidence managing multiple priorities, working independently, and staying calm under pressure.
Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams.
Able to provide reception duties when working at Lewes or Bexhill IPS.
Great organisational skills.
Able to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.
Ability to minute take complex meetings.
Accurately inputting data into databases.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 37 hours, full time. The role will require a minimum of 3 days working in our Lewes and/or Bexhill IPS Centres. To be discussed further at interview.
