We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our hardworking and dedicated accounting team in Vancouver, WA! This skilled individual will perform a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable such as performing research and analytics to resolve any discrepancies. Work closely with customers, customer portals and invoicing systems to ensure proper account balances and timely payment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Reconcile, maintain, and monitor customer accounts. Review for accuracy, work to resolve any discrepancies with the customer and/or various departments, work with customers to stay current, set up payment schedules and ensure accounts stay within terms
Daily reconciliation of electronic sales data from external customers.
Daily communication with internal and external customers via phone, mail, email.
Ability to work across multiple internal and external vendor systems
Managing daily/weekly/monthly aging for assigned accounts
Communicate and concisely explain any slow moving accounts or open items to AR Supervisor
Engage management in any AR issues that arise
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree is preferred
Must have exceptional organizational skills and extraordinary attention to detail
Superior customer service skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
Successful in dealing with customer and company personnel at all levels
Ability to work in a fast paced high change environment
Must have a positive safe work ethic, be a team player, reliable
Advanced computer skills required
Advanced excel skills required (i.e. VLookup, SumIF, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the business
