Description

If you are looking to kick start your career in the transport industry, join our close-knit team as an Administration Assistant at our Cairns Depot. The position requires handling detail-oriented tasks quickly and accurately, with a focus on building relationships and supporting others.

The Opportunity:
  • Full Time Permanent | Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:06pm
  • Effectively manage inbound calls and emails, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide detailed tracking and reporting on freight movements and deliveries including reporting on misdirected freight.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Perform general office and administration duties, including data entry and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a supportive, harmonious environment and continuously improve customer service processes and procedures.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:
You are cooperative, empathetic and encouraging, thriving in a team-oriented environment. You genuinely enjoy helping others, communicate with care and patience, and take pride in building positive connections that foster collaboration and trust.
  • Customer service/administrative experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a people first approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
