About the Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an Airport Operations Officer to join our Airport Services team in Onslow. This role supports the efficient and compliant operation and maintenance of the Shire’s airport facility in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.

As an Airport Operations Officer, you will assist with the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Onslow Airport.

Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections of runways, lighting systems, and other critical infrastructure to ensure safety and compliance. You will also maintain terminal facilities and support the development and review of operational procedures.

The role involves providing administrative support, managing airport documentation, and ensuring adherence to aviation security and safety regulations.

You will participate in an on-call roster to provide after-hours coverage and support special projects as directed. Throughout, you’ll collaborate with team members, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain confidentiality.

Ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety standards will be an essential part of this role.

This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six weeks’ annual leave. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
