Reports to the Merch Ops Content Management Specialist in Merchandising. Responsible for writing web copy for 1,000+ projects annually across 13 merchandising categories. Manages the web copy approval process via Workfront and Proof HQ, ensuring accuracy and coordinating approvals with QA, Product Marketing, Merchandising, and Proofing teams. Proficient in STEP (PIM system) and skilled in cross-functional communication, critical thinking, and managing a well-organized request queue. Leads and schedules effective cross-functional meetings while navigating complex requests.

- Web Copy Writing & Management: Write and implement web copy for over 1,500 projects annually, covering 13 merchandising categories and ensuring consistency and accuracy across the website.
- Approval Coordination: Coordinate and manage the web copy approval process using Workfront and Proof HQ, facilitating collaboration and approvals across multiple teams (QA, Product Marketing, Merchandising, and Proofing).
- Web Copy Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all web copy across the website, collaborating with various teams to ensure brand alignment and optimization.
- STEP Management: Manage and update content in STEP, our PIM system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and aligned with the latest product and marketing strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate productive meetings and communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment on web copy objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Request Management: Maintain an organized request queue and navigate through unclear or complex requests while ensuring timely delivery.
- Special Projects: Write procedural Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the area of web copywriting and content management; implement and maintain item type taxonomy to ensure consistency and accuracy across the platform.

- Bachelor of Arts Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in writing in a professional environment.
- Proficiency with word processing and content management systems, specifically STEP and Workfront.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent proofreading and copywriting skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of projects efficiently.
- Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally and facilitate productive meetings.
- Competent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Preferred Skills:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to generate creative solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Intermediate math and analytical skills to support data-driven decision making.
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The anticipated range for this position is $23.61 - $35.38 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as early access to pay, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
