Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose:

The incumbent would be responsible for warehouse operations in FSD & Punjab (RM/PM/SFG/FG); prepare CAPEX, rental and transporation budgets, and ensure HSE, GWP ,ISO and BRC compliance in assigned scope.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Responsible to manage inventory of PKR 10 billion Per annum (RM/PM/SFG/FG)
• Respnible to manage 200+ SKU's of Fnished Goods
• Responsible to Manage 400+ Raw & pack mat materials
• Arrangement of space for strategic buying products with commercial negotiation with contract management team.
• Responsible for stock movement from Outsource warehouses to NFL Faisalabad Plant for timely availability of stock for production. This can be impacting direct line losses in case of delay decision.
• Manpower mapping as per daily work load.
• Responsible for reporting of stock ageing on monthly basis and keep follow-up with relevant team for utilization.
• Close Coordinate with Production and procurement for better planning and decision making for stock on time availability of materials for production and timely lifting of FG from production to avoid chocking of floor.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction (internal & External) through excellence in managing in-bound & out-bound operations.
• Responsible for Cost Tracker/Budget of Warehousing, Logistics and take initiative to keep it within Budget.
• Change & Conflict Management of resources to avoid any labor issue/ loss of time
• Responsible of all the activities in line with SOPs and guidelines provided time to time by Security & Plant controlling team.
• Monitor employees and 4PL performance through warehousing & logistics KPI's and take actions where non-compliance.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area by weekly monitoring/auditing of physical stock count and maintaining zero differences with 4PL.
• Perform system to system reconciliation on daily bases with 4PL
• Responsible for Quarterly stock counts audit with the objective of 99.99% stock count accuracy.
• Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy.
• Randomly inspect issuance of material for monitoring of FEFO compliance both in FG & RM/PM/SFG
• Monitor on-time stock lifting from production, make decisions and plan contingencies in case of urgent requirements to avoid production loss.
• Monitoring on -time Dispatches of Finish Goods from 4PL warehouse operation to across the warehouses.
• Managing secondary stock dispatch specially on Month end from plant on account of direct dispatches to customers
• Managing the Warehouse operations with optimize labor & cost.
• Monitor and manage storage conditions like housekeeping, climate control, pest control, Fumigation as per GWP standards
• Assist in cost saving / operation management projects (like 5S, Lean Manufacturing. Six Sigma etc)).
• Coordinates with 4PL for cycle counting of materials and reconciliation of actual inventories vs. system's records.
• Ensure 100% Batch accuracy specially in RM/SFG & FG
• Provide warehouse rent provision to Finance Department before month end.
• Making advance blanket PR of warehouse rental bills as per P2P protocols. And get purchase orders from Procurement Department.
• GR of invoices in system and communicate to Finance Department for payment.
• Take an immediate action to resolve the issues/complaints regarding stock discrepancy and others quality related complaints and maintain proper record/tracker.
• Responsible for periodical stock count audit (Internal/External) and ensure 99.99% stock count accuracy all the time.
• Ensuring storage equipment's for inhouse stores are fully functional/operational and coordinating with Maintenance team for periodic inspection.
• Coordinate with auditors and timely resolve all audit observations (if any).
• Present monthly KPI to Head of Logistics

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 5-7 years of experience
