Entry Biomedical Engineer

• Interface directly with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning via phone, emails and web meetings.
• Use CAD software to manipulate 3D files and combine multiple datasets for surgical planning.
• Manage multiple priorities and communicate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain detailed records of each case in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System.
• View patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest.
• Utilize 3D design software to design custom medical devices
• Build preparation for additive manufacturing machines
• Perform inspection of 3D printed surgical guides for quality and clinical effectiveness.
• Use hand tools to buff, clean, or modify the surgical guides as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or other relevant technical field
• Experience collaborating or interacting with medical professionals
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers
• Demonstrated relevant work experience in the field preferred

• Salary Range: $64,000 - $75,000 annually (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
• In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.
