Tasks to be performed:

  • Provide technical support to the EPI Punjab in Vaccine stock management and Distribution. Technical assistance in receiving the vaccine shipments and preparation of Vaccine Arrival Reports for the shipment received from FDI
  • Follow up the progress on EVM IP with provincial and Districts EPI
  • Monitor the vaccine stock issuance and receive in vLMIS
  • Temperature monitoring of Cold Rooms in Provincial and District EPI warehouse through CTM and Temperature monitoring in RTMDs dashboard and share monthly data of facilities where RTMDs are installed
  • Support the implementation of FPP related supply chain activities
  • Support the implementation of CCEOP planning, implementation and monitoring at all levels
  • Support the implementation of Health Facility solar electrification (HFSE)
  • Any other task assigned by the Provincial and UNICEF EPI related to vaccine and cold chain management

Deliverables:

  • D1: Supply of vaccine from FDI, from province to Districts and monitor vaccine stocks to avoid stockouts.
  • D2: Periodic reporting to the Provincial, Federal and UNICEF CO on implementation of EVMA cIP.
  • D3: Stock Monitoring in vLMIS to ensure the shipment of vaccines are entered in vlMIS correctly and issued to the provinces as per the requirement.
  • D4: Temperature monitoring reports of CTM at FDI store and RTMDs dashboard.
  • D5: Implementation of FPP/HSS3 plan as per agreed timelines with provincial and Federal EPI programs.
  • D6: Development and Implementation of Provincial Operational Deployment plan for CCEOP as part of PMT.
  • D7: Development and Implementation of ODP++ for HFSE as part of PMT++

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • An advanced university degree or (Master’s or higher) in any area in Management. Social Sciences, Engineering, Natural Sciences and Public Health or other relevant Areas of Specialization
  • A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 4 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in

o Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.

o In conducting Effective Vaccine Management Assessment would be an advantage

o Previous experiences in working in an EPI environment in Pakistan.

  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset
