Factory Cleaner

What you will enjoy doing

Purpose of job/mission:

To ensure that the factory/production areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness

Tasks & responsibilities:

• To ensure the area around each machine is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.
• To obtain supplies of cleaning materials from Stores and to notify Storeman of
• requirements for ordering purposes,
• To ensure that all rubbish bins are emptied and rubbish put into compactor daily.
• To report any problems with ancillary cleaning equipment immediately.
• To ensure that the standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
• To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with good Health and Safety practice.
• To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may from time to time be reasonably required by supervision and which are consistent with the

Skills/Experience:

• Exposure to a manufacturing/fast paced production environment would be advantageous.
• Punctuality and reliability is key
• Able to maintain own schedule and work independently
• Experience/knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
