This role is a key part of a close-knit team of finance and admin professionals, providing vital business and commercial support for the Critical Care Services unit at John Hunter Hospital, a values-driven organisation. Our unit fosters a collaborative environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and shared responsibilities to achieve collective goals and successful outcomes.
About the Role:
Supporting the Finance Manager as an integral part of the team, this role involves a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly financial and administrative tasks. The dynamic duties within this position will ensure that you are engaged and challenged each week, whilst developing your finance knowledge and experience. You will receive continuous on the job training in our diverse health financial management systems, and all things finance to broaden your skillset.
To Be Successful:
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or experience working within a similar position, with an understanding of basic accounting concepts. You will be someone who loves to use Microsoft Excel to look beyond the numbers and display a strong sense of financial literacy. Experience with financial management systems is essential - Oracle experience would be advantageous.
