We are looking to welcome Food Co-workers to join our delightful food teams here at IKEA Milton Keynes.

Start date: 1st of June 2024

WHAT WE OFFER

• £12.60 hourly rate

CONTRACTS/AVAILABILITY

Restaurant - 12 and 16hr contracts - weekend only
30hr contracts working a combination of dayshifts ,evening and both
weekend days.

Kitchen - 20hr contracts working a combination of dayshifts ,evening and both
weekend days.

Availability will be discussed at interview and all our part time contracts will receive every 4th weekend off. (weekend only contracts excluded)

Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include medical history and prior employment check.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking for someone to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset. This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask. Prior experience in food is desirable.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a food co-worker in the Restaurant you will be giving every customer a friendly welcoming service , making sure restaurant tables are cleared and clean, working on the tills, ensuring our coffee/tea island are fully stocked for our customers. As a food co worker in the kitchen you will be prepping and cooking food, ensuring your work area is clean and tidy, carrying out food safety checks and supporting the rest of the team with daily tasks.
