We are looking to welcome Inventory Co-workers to join our team here at IKEA Milton Keynes.

START DATE 17th of August 2024

WHAT WE OFFER
Salary - £12.60ph
30hrs per week working 6 hour shifts 5 days over 7. Between the hours of 6am till 1pm including both weekend days. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking for a proactive individual who is well organised, able to work independently and as part of a team, and is a problem solver. Passion regards stock accuracy and ensuring that we have products available for our customers in the right place at the right time, is at the heart of this role.

. Requires attention to detail, numeracy skills and strong organisational skills.

• Process driven and an eye for detail
• Good time keeping and organised
• Motivated, proactive and able to work using your own initiative
• Basic computer skills
• Experienced in following action plans/working methods through guidance from

managers

• Ability to follow up set goals
• Communicate confidently, to inspire and engage others
• Ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaborating with others

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Carrying out physical stock counting at pace with accuracy
• Registering counted quantities

Investigating stock taking results

• Recording of stock taking results
• Preparation for the next day’s stock taking

Completing weekly checks and communicating findings to improve stock accuracy

• Communication through all depts in the store, and leading by example
• Take responsibility for teamwork and support your colleagues.
• Once all counts have been completed you will move to scanning all our internal

returns that we have received into the building.
