WHAT WE OFFER

• Start date of employment will be: 8th of February 2025
• Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
• Part Time: 16-20 Hours, working 3-5 days per week and including late evening and 3 out of 4 weekends.

Please be aware that the IKEA Edinburgh Store is located outside of the city and links by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• While previous food and customer service experience can be beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
  

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• The role will involve a variety of tasks, where you will be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant and work behind the scenes in our Dish area to keep the food operation running.
• Customer focused, by working together to create the best customer experience. Listen, act, and exceed their expectations every day.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team.
