Health Care Assistant

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Band 3 dialysis support worker to join the Renal Home Therapy team in Ysbyty Gwynedd.

We are looking to appoint a very dedicated individual to work in our Renal Home Therapies Team, you will need to be self-motivated, flexible to meet service needs, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

The home therapy team presently has 27 Home haemodialysis patients and 11 Peritoneal dialysis patients, with a high probability of expansion in the near future.

The successful applicant will learn new skills and knowledge in relation to assisting in the care for people with Chronic Kidney Disease, both within the hospital setting and their individual home environment.

The service runs Monday to Friday, inclusive of bank holidays. Working patterns for negotiation on appointment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
