Good interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and service users. Good numeracy, literacy and keyboard skills to enable accurate data capture. Work as part of the larger Health Records Team and under the guidance of a Team Leader to ensure that a high-quality service is provided. Good knowledge of GDPR.

Ability to prioritise and organise workload with competing and changing priorities. To provide non-clinical advice to patients, relatives, the public and internal and external agencies. Be flexible and able to adjust to the requirements of the service to cover various shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Share knowledge and skills with colleagues to maintain excellence in customer care through good service delivery in all areas of the department.
