Rheumatology Administration Officer

The successful candidate will provide, administrative and secretarial support service to the team. This role will also entail a variety of other tasks including answering telephone to the patient help line, generate prescriptions, arrange appointments and record attendances using PAS – Patient Administration System and also use Trust systems such as ICE, Single View and Therapy Audit.

To undertake general office administration duties.
Acting as first point of contact on the telephone for patients within Rheumatology service.
Generate prescriptions for Rheumatology Clinical team.
To provide an efficient administration and clerical service to staff, visitors and patients.
To record attendances, arranging appointments using PAS – Patient Administration System and keeping all systems up to date.
To record data using inhouse database.
