The main purpose of this role is to develop Home Fix Scotland’s stores function and to assist with the efficient provision of supplies to maximise customer satisfaction, business efficiency and Value for Money across the Organisation.

Some of the key areas of responsibility include:

  • Ensure the delivery of an excellent material supply service and support for maintenance operatives delivering day to day, void and programmed works
  • Ensure materials are available within agreed target times.
  • Manage and monitor ordering materials, ensuring maximum efficiency from a cost and operational perspective
  • Work under own initiative, with the team and under instruction
  • Ensure equipment and stock issued are accounted for at all times and kept safe and secure
  • Identify appropriate materials to reduce repair re-occurrence

In order to be a successful candidate for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following knowlegde/skills; the post holder must have relevant experience of operating within a property maintenance stores function and must have experience of stock control and audit. A full driving licence is desirable.
