HR Administrator

Working as part of a small team, we are seeking a motivated HR administrator who has a passion for people, systems and problem solving. If you fit the bill, we would love to hear from you!
Te Mahi/About the Position
A fixed term opportunity is available to join our small HR team, as we prepare for a busy year ahead, and continue to work on business improvements and efficiencies. We are looking for someone to work business hours Monday to Friday, based from our central Merivale site.
Key aspects of this role, include:
- Supporting organisation-wide recruitment, utilising the Snaphire recruitment software.
- Working collaboratively with a wide range of people, by phone, email and in person.
- Accurately and efficiently processing variations and employment contracts, in support of the service managers and their administrative team.
- Monitoring and proactively responding to shared email inboxes.
- Ensuring efficient and accurate recording of information across multiple systems.
- Contributing to project work within the HR team and wider organisation.
- Using your previous HR/administrative experience to positively work alongside colleagues and answer queries, relating to contracts and employment legislation.
He momo/About you
We need our Administrator to have lots of energy and resilience as we work hard to deliver our services in a professional and timely manner. You will need to have had strong experience in working with systems and be capable of driving our recruitment processes. Experience in using Snaphire is a plus, as is a qualification in HR, or similar. Strong attention to detail, experience working with multiple contracts and the ability to work with and manage confidential information will make you successful in this role.
