ICMS Testing Support Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced Testing Support Officer to join our exciting Integrated Collection Management System Project. The successful candidate will support the Acceptance and Assurance Testing cycles for all collections data to be moved into the ICMS Earthcape system by March 2025.

The vision for the Integrated Collection Management System (ICMS) is to provide one system for all of Kew’s collections data. The system will be compliant with Museum standards and is making data accessible to curators, scientists, and researchers. This project started in 2021 with a planned end date of March 2025.

We are seeking someone educated to degree level or with equivalent experience. Alongside grounded knowledge and experience of acceptance, and assurance testing within a complex management system at pace. The post-holder will be required to work well within a team setting but also able to take the initiative while working alone and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.

This full time, fixed-term position is due to end in March 2025. It is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The number of working hours per week for this position is 36.
