Position Summary

The Warehouse Team Lead will ensure all the picked orders are shipped accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team by leading and directing, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work. This position will report directly to the Service Centre Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that items are appropriately marked or tagged for identification purposes.
• Run productivity reports (lines picked) for picking
• Conduct regular audits on picked items and ensure orders are being shipped as per Zurn’s standard criteria
• Supervise picking and pack out area to ensure associates are working safely and customer orders are being completed in a timely manner while following standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for preparing the daily shipments for invoicing; verifying orders for accuracy, communication to stocking distributors and service centers copies of packing slips, logging all orders shipped on a shipping log
• Packing out customer orders – Hand loading product to pallets if required
• Data entry tasks – create and update sales orders, print picking list, update and print packing slips
• Drive team productivity and continuous improvement
• Backup for the warehouse daily stand up meeting including running lines shipped and received information
• Assist in miscellaneous and other projects as required
• Ensure priorities are actioned
• Accurate time keeping
• Ensure all H&S activities are actions/adhered
• Be able to use WMS/Scanner/MS office programs
• Key holder for open/close building
• Operate PIT equipment as required
• Any other duties as assigned by Management
