Position Summary

The Warehouse Team (Outbound) Lead will supervise the Outbound team to ensure all the picked orders are shipped accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team by leading and directing, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work. This position will report directly to the Service Center Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the receipt and storage of equipment, materials, merchandise and similar items in warehouse.
• Ensures that items are appropriately marked or tagged for identification purposes.
• Supervises employees who fill orders or requisitions for materials and keep records of items issued and received.
• Manages printing and assigning work orders so that hours of work per picker is distributed evenly among pickers, prioritizes reps over adjacent sort centers, calculates labor share needs based off actual capacity, and conducts adjustments every two hours based off actual values after using estimated values (rate, lines pending) at start of shift. Splits orders when needed and reassigns as needed
• Deep dive WIP location virtual and physical mismatch.
• The development and execution of standard work practices which serve to uphold or improve safety, quality, and delivery performance.
