Wednesday 9.00am-5.00pm
Saturday 9.00-1.00

We’re looking for two highly motivated and customer focused Library and Information Assistant's to join our team temporarily for 19.30 hours a week or 17.30 hours a week until 31st March 2025.
Assisting with day to day library operations at various libraries and locations across the borough, you’ll use your positive attitude and previous customer-facing experience to deliver excellent customer service to all library users.
Working closely with colleagues, Team Leaders and specialist library support teams, you’ll be responsible for organising events, spreading the love of reading and ensuring our libraries are welcoming, user-friendly places to visit.
The successful applicant will have experience of working within a customer-facing environment. Experience of working with community groups and partners would be an advantage.
In accordance with Section 7 of the immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English
