Manufacturing Support Technician - Day Shift

This Manufacturing Support Technician role exposes you to the different manufacturing processes of making vitamins and health building supplements at one of the largest nutraceutical companies in North America. You will gain firsthand experience working with machine operators who operate our high performing machines that manufacture our product.

In this role you will:

• Work Monday to Friday 6:15 am - 2:15 pm
• Use hand tools and material handling equipment to transfer material and machine parts between manufacturing areas, the tooling room and the sanitation area
• Participate in equipment and facility cleaning and sanitization activities
• Perform quality checking during production to monitor in-process product quality
• Maintain all required documentation including cleaning logs and production records
• Assist in the monitoring of production equipment with direction from a Technician or Lead Hand when necessary

You have:

• Mechanical aptitude
• The ability to safely operate hand tools and simple machinery
• Strong verbal and written English language skills
• Demonstrated the ability to learn quickly in different fast-paced environments
• Experience in a similar working environment (nutraceutical, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing)
