Master Thesis “Modelling and Control of a High-Pressure Die-Casting Machine”

• The main goal of this master’s thesis is to develop a model-based controller (e.g. ILC) for the die-casting machine.
• Under the guidance of your interdisciplinary team, you will carry out a literature search, extend our existing mathematical model of the die-casting machine and develop a smart controller (e.g. ILC).
• You will implement the model and controller in MATLAB / Python.

• You will analyse multimodal data from a real production, parametrise unknown model parameters and validate your results.
• You will accumulate experience in a research field, that deals with the triple transition
• You will gain experience in a group of international engineers and scientists, and you have the opportunity to build up your professional network.
