What the Job Involves
This role involves conducting return home interviews for missing children under the Missing from Home protocol, contributing to care planning, and providing independent advocacy. You'll identify and communicate critical intelligence to Social Workers and Police. Responsibilities include engaging young people in child-centered interviews to understand their experiences and educate them on the dangers of running away. You will be tasked with assessing, planning, and reviewing care efforts, ensuring they reflect the child's context and family needs. Additionally, you'll act as a service representative, supporting its functions, and promoting Young Peoples Centres in collaboration with other agencies and local partners.
