Job Overview:
Develop, implement, and control the Master Production Schedule considering demand, capacity, and materials availability constraints in coordination with Capacity Planner and other Supply Chain planners. Ensure availability and adequate inventory levels of materials are available to execute Manufacturing & packing Plan. Support execution of Capacity Planning Activities. The incumbent must comply with all Security Guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the Job Function.

This is a 3-6 month temporary position.

Responsibilities:
Responsibility includes but are not limited to:
Implementing projects related to IT systems, ERP systems, any software associated with GMP and Quality.
Streamlining of current ERP system to ensure the Inventory control, transactions are in line with the Operation & Finances.
Revision of SOP’s related to system activities.
Updating the systems with respect to GXP guidelines and implementing procedures for use and periodical verification.
Involves in the daily production activities and ensure the operation are aligned with production schedule.
Inputs in the system the data needed for a correct scheduling (i.e. product change, format change) in accordance with production.
Issue request to initiate activity like BPR, BOM, change controls, that will be required for the execution of production batches.
Participates with other Planners, Finance and Department Management in the development of the yearly budget and inventory controls.
Coordinates weekly material priorities with key personnel to assure on-time material disposition.
Analyzes and optimizes asset utilization while meeting established short-term needs (e.g. Ship to Promise expected results).
In Production Scheduling, resolves Capacity Issues (equipment, materials, and labor issues, QC Holds or delays for bulk and raw materials, plant shutdown) based on the consolidated demand and on the Production scheduling priorities.
Coordinates and facilitates all the activities which lead to the production completion, in partnership with Customer Service, Production, Maintenance and QC/QA.
Monitors the performance metrics for the assigned products and work centers (e.g. schedule attainment), provides Root Cause Analysis and follows up on actions plan to improve these metrics.
Does operate accordingly to internal and global procedures.
Implementation of Quality Management system, SOP updates and change control.
Document all set up and cleaning in the logbook and other pertinent paperwork
Check information of approved raw material/packaging material as per SOP and Production Batch Record.
Issue the raw material/packaging material as per Production Batch Record and record the issuance information in Production Batch Record, inventory card and other pertinent paperwork.
Store raw material and packaging material at a qualified location in the warehouse after dispensing of the material.
Ensure orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse flooring and storage locations.
Keep the staging area and dispensing room clean during the operation.
Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout the dispensing and packaging operations.

Education Requirements:
MS in Industrial Eng /supply chain management, science and/or engineering (biotechnology, engineering or related sciences). M.B.A or advanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP certification) preferred

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
Effective communication skills, including demonstrated leadership ability and well developed oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead a multi-shift operation.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret operating data such as packaging metrics (output), budget, safety, and quality (GMPs).
Ability to develop systems to support continuous improvement initiatives that support packaging, quality, and safety.
Should be able to Operate & manage Excel and ERP easily.
Should be flexible on time

Education & Experience:
Prefer minimum three years of work experience in a Planning and/or warehouse industrial environment.
Bachelor of Science degree or other closely aligned field is required.
Physical Requirements: WAREHOUSE OR PRODUCTION POSITION – While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additional Physical Requirements:
Lifting 5-8 Hours - 10-15 Pounds
Blood/Fluid Exposure Risk: Category III: Tasks involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. Category I tasks are not a condition of employment.
