The Production Scheduling established professional will works under general supervision, prepares production reports, compiles information, arranges for delivery and shipments, and liaises with suppliers.

This role will be performed Onsite at our Collins Aerospace Location in Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Provides continuous updates to production team for product line status and often leads status meetings

  • Perform SAP transactional activities daily to maintain and execute production builds

  • Executes and maintains current ERP System

  • Prepares and maintains production reports so that performance problems can be identified and resolved

  • Liaises with suppliers to verify shipment details in order to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipment

  • Organizes and arranges for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite the flow of materials and meet production schedules

  • Compiles information and makes recommendations that impact production rates and progress, materials inventory, materials used, or customer information

  • Plans, schedules and arranges for shipments and identifies material shortages to minimize

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance Preferred

  • Strong experience working within SAP

  • Material planning and order execution experience

  • A general understanding of the application and concepts of Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Supply & Demand, Logistics, Procurement, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
