Key job responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products
  • Conduct in-depth market research to deeply understand target customers, their pain points, and competitive landscape
  • Define product positioning, messaging, and value proposition in collaboration with the product management team
  • Create impactful content such as datasheets, presentations, web copy, and other marketing materials to support sales and customer education
  • Devise effective demand generation campaigns across various channels (e.g. digital advertising, email marketing, events) to drive qualified leads
  • Closely work with sales teams to provide product training, sales enablement tools, and support to facilitate successful customer acquisition
  • Monitor and analyze key product marketing metrics (e.g. lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost) to optimize strategies
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for product marketing initiatives
  • Partner with customer success teams to gather customer feedback and insights to inform future product and marketing plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless go-to-market execution
  • Contribute to the overall product and marketing strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Product Marketing Manager III:
  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, Excel
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, or basic data-mining

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
