THE ROLE
We are looking to engage an exceptional Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for both customers & suppliers, providing a professional experience to everyone whilst at our site as well as over the telephone. Other administration tasks such as processing the daily post, providing admin support, coordinating meeting rooms and answering emails will be part of this role. This person will also act as a member of our Community Support Team.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT:
- Managing visitor interactions
- Experienced in fielding incoming calls
- Maintaining a presentable and welcoming reception area
- Coordinating meeting rooms whilst fostering positive internal relationships
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email managing the hello@border inbox and forwarding to relevant teams
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintaining office stationery and supply inventory liaising with procurement for orders
- Management and handling of samples to customers
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and scanning
- Organise hospitality offerings for meetings and visitors to site
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks
- Acting as a member of the Community Support Team, providing general assistance, attending meetings, preparing goody bags and updating request tracker logs.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferable.
- Customer Service: Warm, empathetic, and approachable with excellent communication skills. A can do attitude
- Organisation: A natural multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills. Flexibility and adaptability, able to be proactive
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professionalism: Confident, assertive, and able to engage with a wide range of customers.
