Purpose of Role

The role of the Security Officer is to protect life, property, premises and provide general security services to our clients, customers and service users.​

You will be responsible for completing tasks and procedures and may also be responsible for initiating tasks and procedures within limited parameters with some guidance or supervision.​

The successful candidate must have the ability to gain a good knowledge and understanding of a subject area of work or study. This role will require long periods of standing and walking is also required for this position.

Job Description

It is the responsibility of the Security Officer to work in a professional and safe manner.

• External and internal foot patrols
• Lock ups / unlocks
• Access and Egress control
• Key Control
• CCTV monitoring and operations
• Gatehouse duties
• Incident Reporting
• Car Park duties
• Pottering duties

Essential Qualifications/Skills

An understanding of why Health & Safety is important.
Security SIA Licence (minimum)
