Selling Assistant at Waitrose Canary Wharf

Hello, and a very warm welcome from the team here at Waitrose Canary Wharf. We are delighted to be recruiting Selling Partners to work across our John Lewis floors situated on the ground and 1st floor of our Waitrose branch.

At a glance:

• Temporary positions until the end of January 2025

• John Lewis Selling Partners working across the John Lewis Floors situated in Waitrose Canary Wharf

• Earliest start time of 6AM, latest finish time of 10PM across 7 days

Duties and responsibilities:

Your day will be varied, from delivering service with a smile at the till to helping customers with their online orders. You will be an ambassador for the John Lewis & Partners brand and you’ll delight in going above and beyond to exceed our customers expectations.

You'll proactively engage with customers on the shop floor to help them find and fall in love with our beautiful products and unique services.

We'll also rely on you to work with your team to unload the new stock and ensure it’s in the right place at the right time for our customers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the displays are well organised, beautifully presented and the information is accurate.

Your role is much more than just stock on shelves, it’s a vital part of creating a truly inspirational customer experience in our stops.

Your passion for selling and/or merchandising will enable you to provide guidance to customers on our products. We'll equip you with the skills and knowledge to advise customers with confidence.

Desirable experience:

• Previous experience of selling or a customer facing role is desirable but we'll equip you with the skills you need to shine here in our John Lewis team
