Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler

Emerald Crest of Minnetonka is hiring a dedicated Full-Time Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler with 1-2+ years of prior staffing/scheduling experience to join our memory care team! In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $4,000 Bonus!

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday with 10 days a month being On-Call for staffing. Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler skills and requirements:

• 1-2+ years of prior staffing/scheduling experience required.
• 6+ months of caregiving experience in a memory care setting required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent customer service skills.
  
  

Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Provide clerical support to nursing management.
• Interview and hire candidates for open nursing positions.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Track continuing educational programs for staff.
• Create training plans for new nursing staff.
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
• Complete payroll and manage time clock errors.
• Order and distribute nursing supplies in a cost effective manner.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
