Team Leader

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Team Leader (day shift 5:30am - 1:30pm) to join our busy team at our Truganina warehouse.

Key Focus Areas

• Oversee the daily work of logistics or freight forwarding team members Ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner
• Ensure reporting is completed, on a daily basis and / or as needed
• To determine and implement the most effective methods for performing the specific function of this position within the customers guidelines
• Determine priority order/tasks
• Ensure clear concise information flow both upwards and downwards
• Ensure involvement of team in meeting’s
• Ensure alignment with the GDP and GWP for pharmaceutical goods
• Ensure GDP manual is up to date and adhered to at operational level
• Providing training, guidance and direction to reporting staff

Competencies and Skills required:

• Previous experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Warehouse environment
• Leadership Skills - Ability to manage people ideally within Warehousing/Logistics
• Target and Results Focused - ability to ensure daily KPI’s are met
• Proven Continuous Improvement and problem-solving skills
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System and RF scanners
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
