Job Description:

IQRA International Model School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Urdu, Pakistan Studies, and Islamiyat Teacher. As a teacher of these subjects, you will play a vital role in educating students about the rich cultural heritage, history, and values of Pakistan, as well as fostering an understanding and appreciation of the Urdu language and Islamic teachings.

Responsibilities:

• Subject Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Urdu language, Pakistan Studies, and Islamiyat, tailored to the curriculum standards and the needs of students at various grade levels.
• Cultural and Historical Education: Educate students about the culture, history, and geography of Pakistan, promoting a sense of pride and appreciation for their heritage.
• Islamic Studies: Teach Islamic principles, values, and teachings, fostering a deep understanding of Islam and its role in the lives of Muslims.
• Language Proficiency: Enhance students' proficiency in the Urdu language, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Assessment and Feedback: Assess students' understanding and progress through quizzes, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring students' safety and well-being while promoting respect and cooperation.
• Parent Communication: Keep parents/guardians informed about student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in Urdu language teaching, Pakistan Studies, and Islamiyat education, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Urdu, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Teaching certification/license in Urdu, Islamic Studies, or relevant subject areas.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Urdu language, Pakistan's history and culture, and Islamic teachings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Classroom teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
• Proficiency in technology and digital tools for instruction.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
