The Assignment:
The Tax Preparer will have strong commitment and dedication in customer service and will have skillset for preparing tax returns efficiently.
We are seeking an individual who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. They will be someone who has excellent organizational skills, and is detail oriented.
Ultimately, the successful candidate will demonstrate efficiency and a high-level of accuracy while filing personal and corporate taxes.
The successful candidate will have effective communication skills -- demonstrates exceptional customer service skills and builds/maintains excellent relationships with clients and various stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with any assigned accounting, clerical or administrative-related tasks.
Key Accountabilities:
- Completes file preparation within 24 hours of submission
- Responds to all emails and voicemails within 24 hours
- Determine the appropriate file location/or setup of client files
- Review information received and identify inaccuracies or missing information
- Maintains high levels of confidentiality and privacy
- Any other duties to meet workplace operations
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail while preparing and maintaining both financial and administrative documentation and records
- Able to meet deadlines while managing the workload effectively
Qualifications:
- Post secondary Diploma in business administration or equivalent work experience an asset
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an Accounting related position
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Wolters Kluwer required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in English and Punjabi
