Your Opportunity
Our Yellowknife office has an immediate opportunity for a full time Administrative Assistant to join our Buildings group.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Main reception duties, including answering calls and greeting clients.
- Order office supplies and maintain office equipment.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving.
- Code accounts payable invoices.
- Support administration activities such as health and safety, equipment ordering, and booking travel.
- Organize social events, meeting spaces, lunches, etc.
- Coordinate with other administrative support to complete tasks.
- Present a positive and professional image of the office to all colleagues, visitors, suppliers, and other people
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Excellent research, writing, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with teams in multiple offices
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with SharePoint is a plus
- Confidence in interacting with all levels of management and clients
- Experience within the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry is a plus
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma is required. Previous administrative experience would be an asset but is not required.
