Job Description:

The Assistant Executive in the Import Department supports the Import Manager in overseeing the import operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations, managing documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process import documentation in compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for timely and efficient import operations.
• Track and monitor import shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and documentation.
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth import processes.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements for import operations.
• Support budget preparation and cost management for import activities.
• Assist the Import Manager with administrative tasks and special projects.
