Overview
The Associate-Training position is responsible for the design and review of operational procedures supporting the area's content expert and the creation, coordination, and implementation of learning solutions. The Associate will perform tasks to support the business areas mainly focused on the development of training materials, training strategic projects for the site, facilitation of learning in operational areas and/or supporting reviews of procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
Procedures design and revision
- Write new procedures or made changes to existing procedures, according to the established itinerary.
- Develop or review procedures according to established requirements, corporate policies, and regulations.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and trainers for crafting new content and updating existing content.
L&D Course Portfolio Management
- Define requirements for personnel qualification; ensure implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Create, revise, and implement learning solutions, ensuring all courses are effective and compliant with Corporate and Local policies and procedures.
- Evaluate effectiveness of existing and planned learning interventions.
- Design and deploy learning strategies to enable the natural transfer of knowledge between learners.
Client Management
- Analyze/understand the assigned business area/function, including business goals, job titles and descriptions, key duties, and responsibilities.
- Manage all training transactions related to the assigned business area.
- Monitor client satisfaction of learning program implementation. Share results with supervisor and make recommendations.
- Surface improvement opportunities for existing training.
- Consult across the assigned business area/function and the Lilly learning community to ensure training plans align with business plan, strategic direction, and compliance and ethics.
Curriculum Architecture and Assignment
- Ensure curricula architecture supports targeted assignments to ensure individual have the training required for effective job performance and compliance with regulations.
- Create and maintain duty/task aligned curricula with business partners and support curricula owners and curricula periodic review in the business.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology or Human Resources.
- 2-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Experience in Learning and Development processes and management of standard operating procedures in a GMP facility.
Additional Skills/ Preferences
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience using learning management software, learning request tools and document management systems.
- Proficient in MS Windows
- Teamwork oriented
- Ability to work with multiples priorities with minimum supervision.
- Organizational skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to navigate complex, matrix-based organizations.
- Strong compliance mindset and sound judgement.
- Willing to support operation during weekends, holidays and rotating shifts as needed.
