e-Commerce & Retail Data Analyst

Skills, Software, or Experience Required/Preferred below:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in retail or e-commerce
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau)
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (e.g., SEO, PPC, email marketing)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

MAJOR FUNCTION:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including sales reports, website analytics, and customer databases.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform business strategies and decisions
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc analysis to support marketing, sales, and operations teams

COMPETENCIES:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail and e-commerce channels.
• Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitor activities, and industry trends.
• Provide insights on market dynamics, customer preferences, and emerging technologies.
• Analyze website and e-commerce performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and web development teams to optimize user experience, conversion rates, and sales
• Analyze customer data to understand behavior, preferences, and purchasing patterns.
• Develop customer segmentation strategies to enhance targeting and personalization efforts
• Monitor inventory levels and sales forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory turnover and reduce stockouts.
