We now have an opportunity available for a Health Care Assistant who is enthusiastic and self-motivated to join our team in this busy Theatre department at North Shore Hospital. The role involves providing support to our Registered Nurses and working under direct supervision at all times when interacting with patients.
The successful applicant will have a positive manner, be able to work under direction, and work as part of a team in a very busy theatre environment.
Experience and working knowledge in a healthcare setting as a Health Care Assistant or in a related health field is required.
The successful candidate will be flexible to the needs of the service, enjoy working as part of a team, and possess a strong command of the English language with the ability to communicate effectively in a courteous, sensitive, and confidential manner. Please note for this postion we can only accept candidates who possess NZ residency or citizenship.
