Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversees and reviews the work of local health department personnel in personnel actions and hiring.
- Provides technical assistance to all levels of local health department management.
- Compiles and maintains data system of applicants/certifications.
- Generates reports and analyzes them.
- Provides statistical information as requested
- Assists with developing personnel policies and procedures.
- Works in professional Human Resource software.
- Prepares reports such as personnel expenditure turnover and recruitment using Excel and HR systems.
- Attends meeting and/or conducts trainings as needed.
- Corresponds with all levels of management internal and external for response to personnel related inquires.
- Working knowledge of the LHD’s personnel merit regulations

- Microsoft Suites and Teams
- Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) experience a plus
