Medical Statistician

Duties:
- Assist in the design and setup of research projects, contributing to protocol development and ethics submissions.
- Develop and implement statistical programs for data analysis, including randomisation schedules and interim/final analyses.
- Take responsibility for data integrity, ensuring robust statistical analysis and adherence to CTU Standard Operating Procedures.
- Contribute to reports for Trial Steering Committees (TSC) and Data Safety Monitoring Committees (DSMC), as well as academic publications and presentations.
- Provide statistical support and advice to researchers within the department and the PCVC-CTU, including assistance with grant applications.
Selection Criteria:
- Higher degree in medical statistics or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in statistical programming and familiarity with statistical software such as Stata, SAS, or R.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
- Strong knowledge of study design, statistical techniques, and data analysis methods.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
