As a Barclays Project Manager, your role is fundamental to our mission to create an environment of effective delivery and has a broad range of business and technical skills to create a high-level outcome for our stakeholders. You will specifically deliver the work to define what it means to be an accountable executive in the first and second line and assist accountable executives and coverage leads in discharging duties promoting compliance with US laws, rules and regulations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating in a strategic, structured, consistent, and controlled way, overseeing delivery of multiple component parts, to ensure plan outcomes are achieved
• Managing business case and programme governance and deliveries, to auditable standards and in line with policies
• Ensuring that programmes deliver agreed outcomes, to time and quality
• Monitoring and managing RAIDs and resource requirements
• Partnering with the Accountable Executive and Americas Management team to provide key supporting materials, including effective data visualization
• Bringing an ability to adapt and flex, to programme needs, assisting the Programme Director with the provision of principle based stakeholder / colleague comms

What we’re looking for:

• Capability to effectively communicate with, influence and manage stakeholders at all levels, taking account of their levels of influence and interest
• Ability to determine, define, evaluate, plan, track and realize the outcomes & benefits of change initiatives – undertaking a realistic assessment of what is achievable by when
• Ability to determine and monitor risks and issues, to plan and implement appropriate responses for mitigation or resolution, including escalations
• Capability to analyze data and define key insights (excel / PowerPoint)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience of engaging with or supporting on engagement with regulators
• Delivering large complex change initiatives
• Knowledge of Barclays standard change delivery processes
• The capacity to inspire, coach and empower others to deliver on a shared vision and outcomes for transformational change
